Royal Wedding

To celebrate the wedding of prince William and Catherine Middleton we have been learning all about weddings this week. We have designed invitations and cakes, written menus and speeches, researched the royal wedding on the internet and tasted traditional wedding cake. We even had a ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ cut the cake for us!

This week 9 children went to Moseley to compete in a Tag Rugby competition. Several adults complemented the children on the impeccable behaviour. Well done to:

Chloe, Ciaran, Codi, Ellie-May, Ellie, Penny, Ryan, Sami and Shelby!

Congratulations!

At the end of another hard-working term we have lots to celebrate in Year 5. At our special end of term assembly Headteacher awards were given to:

Codi and Jamaul

who have both been incredibly caring this year. Wear your badges with pride!

Ellie-May

was congratulated on her 100% attendance this year which is a fantastic achievement. Last week all of Year 5 had 100% attendance and we were rewarded with some chocolates this week. Well done to all of you! What a shame we just missed out on the same again this week.

Mrs Payne also issued a letter congratulating all of the children in our school who have shown outstanding behaviour this term. 25 Year 5 children were given one of these letters for their parents today-amazing!

Have a fantastic Easter holiday everyone, look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 26th April.
