Professor Fluffy

Today Professor Fluffy and her friends from Newman College came to visit us. During the workshop we had a quiz about Higher Education, learnt about students at university, completed activities about what we had learnt in our workbooks and we had our own ‘graduation’ ceremony where we were presented with certificates, crayons and our own minature Professor Fluffy. Take a look at photos from Professor Fluffy’s visit:-

Brass Assembly

This morning we were treated to an assembly led by Mr. Douglas our Brass teacher. He intoduced several songs played by seven girls from Year 4 and 5. We were very proud of Bethany & Maigen who played the Tenor Horn and Shelby and Ellie-May who entertained us by playing Trombones. The year 4 Trumpet players were also very good. We heard many songs on the theme of the Royal wedding, including ‘Here Comes the Bride’ and the National Anthem. Well done girls the hard work and practise is really paying off!
